Group Coaching - Membership Overview


In Flight Running offers four structured group run coaching memberships each year, designed to support runners of all experience levels—from beginners to athletes training for major races like the Houston Chevron Marathon and Aramco Half Marathon.

Our 48-week YEAR PASS is our best-value, year-round coaching option, combining both the Prime and Spring training seasons into one comprehensive membership. Year Pass athletes receive consistent coaching, community support, and weekly coached long runs across the entire year.

The Prime Season, our signature 34-week marathon and half-marathon training program, runs from June through February. This season is ideal for runners preparing for fall and winter races, especially the Houston Marathon and Half in January.

We also offer two Spring training options:

  • Spring Launch (18 weeks) — Begins in late January and runs through late May. This program is perfect for beginner runners or anyone looking to build confidence, fitness, and consistency heading into the year.

  • Spring Season (13 weeks) — Starts in early March and continues through late May. It’s a great way to maintain post–Houston Marathon fitness or build a strong training base before entering the Prime Season.

Year Pass bundles our Spring and Prime seasons for an entire year of In Flight training and coaching.  This program is for runners of all skill levels who are actively running and have both short and longer term race goals for the entire year. 48 weeks, 45 Sat long runs, 40 Tue AM interval workouts, 40 Tue PM group runs.

Prime is our Primary training season to help runners get race-ready for fall and winter races. This longer season coincides with most of the United States' long-distance running season, so more focus is put on those training for the marathon & half-marathon.  34 weeks, 33 Sat long runs, 28 Tue AM interval workouts, 28 Tue PM group runs.

Designed for runners who are actively running or just getting started.  Focus is put on improving pace & times for shorter distance races.  13 weeks, 12 Sat long runs, 12 Tue AM interval workouts, 12 Tue PM group runs.  We take one Saturday off in late March to road trip to Brenham to run the Bluebell Ice Cream Half, 10K, and 5K.
